The picturesque Le Marche region of Italy has a wealth of places to see, taste, drink and smell. The cooking of the region is unique and can be as diverse from generally thought of Italian fare as you could hope for.. With many inter-regional specialities and a wealth of very fine wines (equally undiscovered) to keep you amazed for your entire stay. The sea and the mountains are all within an hours drive. You can be up to 2800 mtrs high walking through alpine plants and flowers to sunning by the seaside one hour later.

The common views are of small fortified hilltop villages and towns to the larger towns in the valleys. Woodland, grape and olive groves are all patched together to form this unique countryside. If you're an artist or photographer you will be in a chocolate box heaven. During the summer months each village tries to out do the other with festas and events which generally end with a big firework display. Fixing up a daily itinerary is actually quite easy as there is so much to do and see. Though this description is a bit understated as those who have been here know.

Set in the hills Monte Bove Farm is divided into two comfortable self-catering holiday apartments. Each being a three bedroom apartment. The apartments are available to let throughout the year and provide the ideal base for exploring the region. There is a swimming pool for summer use and central heating and wood burning stove for winter months.

The farm is a working organic farm of 10 hectares run by Jo and Hugh Crowther and their four daughters. The land consists of a vineyard, an olive grove and orchards of plums, nectarines, apples and soft fruits. The remainder is set to grain and pasture with a hectare of woodland. The whole area is in a wildlife reserve so there are many animals to see and walks to enjoy. Picnic areas have been set around the farm and cycles are available for guests' use.

The villages of Santa Maria Goretti and Trivio are within easy walking distance. A selection of shops and bars are close by.
